My name is Alex Shook and I’m an attorney at the law firm of Hamstead, Williams & Shook. Originally from Moundsville, W.Va., I came to Morgantown in 1987 to go to college at WVU and fell in love with the city. I’ve watched it grow from a small, sleepy college town to a burgeoning small metropolis that’s ranked as one of the nation’s number one small cities to do business, raise a family, and start a career.
In my opinion, Morgantown has become the heartbeat of West Virginia.
